Electric Strike Door Lock Fail Safe for Access Control Systems with Remote Door Release

NO Electric Strike Door Lock for Access Control Systems Fail Safe Overview A normally open fail safe electric strike designed for use with access control systems. This strike provides controlled door release while defaulting to an unlocked state when power is removed, supporting safe egress and straightforward integration into electronic access setups. Key benefits Controlled access with predictable behavior: Normally open fail safe operation keeps the strike unlocked when power is removed and secures when power is applied, allowing controlled entry while supporting egress during power loss. Simple system integration: Built for use with electronic access control controllers, card readers, keypads, and intercom systems, enabling remote release and centralized management. Reliable operation: Engineered for consistent latch release and repeatable performance to reduce troubleshooting and downtime. Space efficient design: Compact footprint fits into common door frame installations where an electric strike is required without major frame alteration. Practical for a wide range of doors: Suited for installations that require electronic control of mechanical latchsets and where fail safe operation is preferred. How it solves common problems Eliminates manual unlocking: Remote activation removes the need to manually unlock doors while maintaining controlled entry points. Supports emergency egress: Fail safe mode ensures the strike releases on power loss, allowing exit without powerdependent mechanisms. Reduces retrofit complexity: Designed to be mounted into standard frame preparations so upgrading to electronic access control is faster and cleaner. Compatibility and installation Intended for integration with access control systems that support electric strike devices. Requires wiring to the access control controller or release circuit for power and control. Designed to work with standard latchset configurations commonly used in commercial and institutional doors. Typical applications Office buildings: Centralized access control for interior or exterior doors where controlled release and safe egress are required. Multiunit facilities: Entryways to shared corridors, storage areas, or service rooms managed by a central access system. Institutional settings: Administrative areas, classrooms, or utility closets that need electronic release while defaulting to unlocked on power loss. What to consider before Confirm compatibility with your access control controller and door latch type. Verify electrical requirements and wiring layout before installation. Ensure the fail safe mode matches your site requirements for egress and security. This normally open fail safe electric strike offers a reliable option for projects that require electronic access control with fail safe release behavior, straightforward integration, and consistent operation.
