Press and ask Alexa to find, launch, and control content. Navigate with standard playback controls. Use Alexa to play music, view sports scores, check weather, see live camera feeds, and control compatible smart home devices. Power on device. Insert batteries and install compartment cover. Pair device to host: A. Replacement remote: 1. Restart your Fire TV or TV Stick by unplugging the power cable from the power outlet, then plug it back in. After the home screen appears, your remote is ready for pairing. 2. Press and hold the Home button on the new remote for at least 10 seconds. The remote will automatically pair with your Fire TV or TV Stick. An on-screen message will confirm successful pairing. B. Additional remote: 1. On the new remote, press and hold the Home button for 10 seconds to enter discoverable mode. 2. Using your existing remote, press the Home button. 3. Navigate to Settings at the top of the screen. Select Controllers and Bluetooth Devices > Fire TV Remotes > Add New Remote. Your Fire TV will search for available remotes and display them in a list. 4. Select the new remote, listed as Fire TV Remote. An on-screen message will confirm successful pairing. Use Voice Search: Hold down the voice search button and speak.
