It is recommended to set the ISO to 3200 or higher indoors (auto is acceptable outdoors), and keep the shutter speed above 1/50. Also, a small aperture makes dust on the camera's CMOS more visible. If you notice small black spots in your photos, this is normal; they may not be as visible with a wide aperture.
