Forged Offset Aviation Snips Set

This 2-pack includes one left-cut and one right-cut aviation snip, each with an offset blade design for improved ergonomics and visibility during cutting. Each snip features hot drop-forged molybdenum alloy steel blades, austemper heat-treated for enhanced durability and edge retention. Cut length is 1-1/4 inches (31.8 mm); cutting capacity is up to 18-gauge cold-rolled steel and 22-gauge stainless steel. Total weight per snip is approximately 320 g; overall length is 9.5 inches (241 mm). Handles are ergonomically shaped with textured rubber overmold for secure grip and reduced hand fatigue. The offset blade geometry positions the user’s hand above the workpiece, allowing clear line-of-sight to the cut line — especially valuable when trimming curved or intricate sheet metal profiles. The ‘pinch-thru-point’ blade geometry ensures clean, precise cuts all the way to the very tip, eliminating the need for repositioning or secondary trimming.
