Garden Timer With Rain Sensor & Lock

Durable ABS housing, compact footprint of approx. 9 x 16 cm (3.54 x 6.3 in). Operates on two readily available 1.5V AA alkaline batteries (not included), delivering up to 10 months of consistent performance. Supports highly accurate watering durations — programmable in one-second increments from 1 second to 99 minutes 59 seconds. Designed for typical UK domestic water supply pressures (0.05–0.8 MPa). Uses standard 3/4" BSP hose threads — internal inlet and external outlet — for universal UK hose compatibility. IPX5-rated waterproofing ensures operational integrity during frequent rain exposure and routine cleaning. Integrated inlet mesh filter prevents abrasive particles like silt and grit from entering the pulse solenoid valve — significantly reducing wear and unplanned downtime. Features intelligent rain detection via dedicated sensor chip — suspends irrigation during measurable rainfall and resumes normal scheduling afterward, with optional manual override. Battery monitoring includes both visual indicator and fail-safe valve closure at critical voltage — preventing unattended water release. Large, high-definition LCD screen offers sharp contrast and full parameter visibility. Child lock function disables front-panel inputs to protect settings from unintended change. Engineered for real-world UK usage: fits narrow balcony rails, mounts easily beside greenhouse doors, works reliably with low-pressure rain barrels or municipal supplies, and adapts to seasonal shifts in plant water demand — from early-spring seedlings to late-summer fruiting crops.
