Glossy Black Switch Button Vinyl Kit

This vinyl repair kit provides a fast, clean and authentic way to renew worn window switch buttons in Mercedes Benz vehicles from the 2007–2014 model years. Constructed from flexible, automotive-grade vinyl, each overlay is printed and cut to match the exact geometry of factory-fitted switches found in W204 C-Class, W212 E-Class, R171 SLK, X164 ML, X166 GL, and related platforms. The glossy black finish replicates OEM depth and reflectivity, while the material’s inherent elasticity allows seamless adaptation to concave, convex and angled switch surfaces when lightly heated. Thickness is minimal (under 0.15 mm), ensuring no interference with switch travel or surrounding bezel clearance. Adhesive performance has been validated for long-term indoor automotive use: strong initial bond resists accidental peeling during cleaning or casual contact, yet remains fully removable with slow, steady lift — leaving no sticky residue, haze or surface etching behind. Installation takes under five minutes per switch and requires only a lint-free cloth and optional hairdryer. Importantly, the kit preserves all original functions: illumination, tactile feedback and electrical continuity remain unchanged. It is not a switch replacement — it is a surface-level visual correction tool for owners who prioritise authenticity, simplicity and cost efficiency in interior upkeep.
