A S60X6 Buttress thread measures 60mm from thread end to thread end and has a 6mm pitch (distance between threads). If your tank buttress is not an S60X6 (approximately 20% are not), you can purchase a Buttress Thread Converter which will convert the thread to S60X6 which you will need.
