IGBT Module 6MBI15S-120 Power Module with Voltage-Based Control

IGBT Power Module for Reliable Switching Performance This IGBT module combines the practical benefits of bipolar power transistors and power MOSFETs in a single composite power device. Designed for efficient power switching, it offers a large input impedance, which means the driving power required is modest and the control circuit can be kept straightforward. The module is available in a range of part numbers, including 6MBI15S-120, 6MBI15S-120-50, 6MBI15S-120-52 and 6MBI15S-120-02, giving you flexibility when matching your existing setup. Efficient Operation with Low Switching Loss The fast turn-on and turn-off speeds support a high operating frequency while keeping switching losses relatively low. This combination helps the module run efficiently in demanding power conversion tasks, where reduced energy loss during each cycle contributes to better overall system performance. Simple Integration and Control Because the input impedance is high, the control circuit can be kept simple without sacrificing responsiveness. This makes the module easier to work into your design, whether you are upgrading existing equipment or building a new power stage. The compact IGBT construction delivers the advantages of both major power device families, offering a balanced solution for your switching applications.
