The XDS100v2 emulator is the second generation of the XDS100 JTAG emulation technology and supports debugging for Texas Instruments (TI) processors. It features a USB 2.0 high-speed interface with a theoretical data rate of up to 480 Mbps and connects via a standard 14-pin TI JTAG connector. Compatible with Code Composer Studio (CCS) versions 4 through 10 and later, it supports Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10. This emulator is fully compliant with the official TI XDS100v2 reference design, delivering equivalent performance, speed, and compatibility. Supported processor cores include: TMS320C28x, TMS320C54x, TMS320C55x, TMS320C64x+, TMS320C674x, ARM9, ARM Cortex-R4, and ARM Cortex-A8. Debugging capabilities include connect/disconnect, memory read/write, register read, program load, run, halt, step, breakpoint, and real-time mode. On-chip flash programming is supported for devices such as C2000 microcontrollers.
