Leak-Proof Faucet Stem Replacement Set

A 2-unit replacement set for worn RP4993-type faucet stems, containing fully assembled stem cartridges with brass bodies (2.5" L × 0.5" OD), EPDM seats (Ø7.2 mm), 304 stainless springs (free length 12 mm, wire Ø0.8 mm), and moulded 1/4-turn stops. Total net weight: 120 g. All components are RoHS-compliant and tested to 10 bar static pressure per BS EN 1717 standards. Each stem is pre-aligned and pre-loaded at the factory — ready to drop into existing valve bodies without shimming, sanding, or seat lapping. The brass body resists galling during repeated installation/removal; EPDM seats compress uniformly against ceramic or brass valve seats; springs deliver consistent 3.2–3.8 N closing force across 15–60°C operating range. Suited for UK homes with ageing plumbing infrastructure — particularly properties built between 1970–2005 using Moen-derived or generic two-handle faucets. Addresses chronic issues like overnight drip accumulation, cold-water-only leakage (indicating hot-side stem failure), or cross-contamination risk from deteriorated rubber components.
