Lightweight ABS Chainring Protector

This chainring protector is made from injection-moulded ABS plastic — offering an optimal balance of impact resistance, dimensional stability, and low weight. Designed exclusively for 40–42 tooth mountain bike chainrings, it covers the top and outer arc of the ring while integrating a fixed tail for complete lower-chain shielding. Total installed weight remains negligible, preserving ride dynamics. Dimensions follow standard MTB chainline geometry, with minor measurement variance (±1–3 cm) accepted per industry norms. Installation follows a nine-step process beginning with centre shaft removal and concluding with tail fastening — all hardware required is standard and widely available.
