Marine Navigation Parallel Ruler 45cm with Clear Scale for Chart Plotting

Marine Navigation Parallel Ruler This 17 inch parallel ruler has been designed for serious mariners who need a dependable tool for chart plotting, route planning and maritime navigation training. The clear scale allows for accurate measurement of distances and angles directly on the chart, helping you work with confidence during passage preparation and at-sea navigation exercises. Precision and Stability The 45cm ruler is crafted to provide stability while in use, so it stays firmly in place as you transfer courses and bearings across the chart. Its parallel construction keeps lines true and consistent, which is essential when plotting a steady course or checking your position against charted features. The transparent scale makes readings straightforward, reducing the risk of parallax error during detailed work. Built for Practical Use Whether you are a professional skipper, a navigation enthusiast or a maritime student refining your skills, this ruler is suited to regular training and chart work. Its robust build is intended to withstand the demands of the chart table, while the clear markings remain easy to read even under low light conditions. The 17 inch length offers good coverage across standard charts, allowing you to plot longer legs without constantly repositioning the instrument. A Reliable Addition to Your Navigation Kit This parallel ruler is a practical choice for anyone who takes chart work seriously. It supports accurate plotting and route planning, helping you develop and maintain the core skills required for safe and effective navigation.
