This new MC-DC2-style shutter release is engineered specifically for Nikon cameras including Z6, Z7, D7500, D7200, D7100, D90 and many others listed in the compatibility chart. Measuring 90 cm (35.4 in) in cable length and weighing only 65 g, it combines lightweight portability with structural integrity. The outer casing is made from impact-resistant plastic, while all connector points use solid metal copper needles. Inside, a high-elasticity wire core guides smooth cable movement, and metal reed contacts ensure consistent electrical performance. The shutter button features a dual-layer construction with micro-convex geometry and calibrated spring force for reliable actuation. Supports focus pre-activation, standard shutter release, BULB exposure and video recording initiation — making it suitable for professional-grade stills and hybrid workflows.
