MPU-6050 6DOF Motion Sensor Module

A compact, integrated 6-degree-of-freedom motion sensing module built around the MPU-6050 chip. Physical layout follows standard 2.54 mm pin spacing for breadboard and PCB header compatibility. Manufactured using immersion gold PCB finish and machine-welded joints to ensure mechanical and electrical consistency. Powered by 3–5 V DC and communicates exclusively via I²C — no UART or SPI overhead. Delivers 16-bit digital outputs from its on-chip ADC for both gyroscope and accelerometer channels. Supports four programmable gyroscope sensitivity settings (±250, ±500, ±1000, ±2000 °/s) and four accelerometer full-scale ranges (±2, ±4, ±8, ±16 g). Designed for reliable performance in space-constrained, low-power embedded designs. The sensor fuses angular rate and linear acceleration data in hardware-level logic, forming the foundational input layer for orientation estimation algorithms (e.g., complementary or Kalman filters). All configuration registers are accessible over I²C, enabling runtime adaptation — essential for adaptive gesture recognition or context-aware navigation. Deployed across motion-sensitive applications including handheld gaming controllers, AR glasses motion tracking, EIS-enabled action cams, OIS-assisted smartphone modules, indoor pedestrian navigation devices, contactless gesture interfaces, and ergonomic posture-monitoring tools.
