The MT6835 chip is a fourth-generation magnetic angle encoder IC, an upgraded version of the MT6825, based on Anisotropic Magnetoresistive (AMR) technology. It enables absolute angle measurement from 0° to 360° using proprietary signal processing technology. This chip consists of a pair of AMR Wheatstone bridges and a signal processing ASIC circuit. As the magnetic field parallel to the chip surface rotates, it outputs angle signals including ABZ, UVW, and PWM. Users can read 21-bit absolute angle data via a standard 4-wire SPI interface supporting up to 16 MHz clock speed. It supports a maximum rotational speed of 120,000 RPM. Applications include high-speed, high-precision control systems such as closed-loop stepper motor control, 2500-line servo motors, and 17-bit absolute value servo motor control.
