OBD2 Interface Box for EDC15 ME7 Vehicles

This box is compatible with engine control units EDC15 (diesel) and ME7 (gasoline). The EDC15 control unit for diesel engines is installed in ADI/SEAT and ŠKODA models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control unit for gasoline engines (1.6L and above) is also supported. Additionally supported control unit versions include ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1. Usage instructions: - Connect the EDC15/ME7 box to the vehicle’s OBD2 diagnostic port. - Set the switch on the box to “OFF”. - Wait 20–30 seconds. The LED will begin flashing slowly, then rapidly — indicating successful deactivation. - No computer or additional software is required. - The vehicle will start without a transponder key. - To restore normal operation, set the switch to “ON” and wait 20–30 seconds. Compatible with vehicles equipped with Motronic EDC15 (diesel) or ME7 (gasoline) engine control units. Not compatible with 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4L, or 1.6L gasoline engines.
