OdourProof Flexible PTrap Drain Kit

This drain kit delivers dependable, maintenance-friendly performance for bathroom and kitchen sinks. Includes a 32 mm flexible P-trap (fully extendable to 45 cm), integrated anti-odour sealing plug, and universal mounting collar. Total mass: 380 g. Manufactured from high-tensile, UV-stabilised polymer — retains flexibility at low temperatures and resists deformation at sustained 60°C exposure. Confirmed fit for standard 32 mm waste outlets across wall-mounted, straight, and side-set configurations — including those with functional overflow mechanisms. The P-trap’s open-loop design permits direct line-of-sight into the trap chamber. The sealing plug engages passively with water level changes, requiring zero user input to maintain odour-blocking capability. Bottom plate movement is calibrated to respond to hydraulic head pressure — opening earlier and wider than fixed-orifice designs to reduce average drainage time by 22% in timed tests, while guaranteeing full closure post-drainage. Deployed in social housing upgrades to eliminate recurring tenant odour reports; used by contractors in fast-track kitchen refits where sink models vary across units; and selected by landlords for buy-to-let properties needing long-interval maintenance due to reliable self-sealing and clog-resilient flow dynamics.
