The maximum delay is 10 units, configurable from 0.1 to 25 seconds, executed sequentially after delay. Exceeding any limit prevents further configuration. The 34-bit capacity represents shared memory for the entire keyboard, not dedicated to any single key. Each pair of brackets constitutes one step; steps are independent. Once pressed, keys must be released immediately; they cannot remain pressed while awaiting other key presses. Both single-key actions (e.g., delay 1 second + A) and shortcut keys (e.g., Ctrl+C) count as one step, each occupying one bit of macro space. However, shortcut keys additionally occupy one bit of special key space, while delays occupy one bit. Macros cannot incorporate mouse actions.
