Supported Communication Speeds and Modes: Supports speeds of 6.0 Gbps, 3.0 Gbps, and 1.5 Gbps; compatible with Gen 1i, Gen 1x, Gen 2i, Gen 2m, Gen 2x, and Gen 3i. Supports AHCI 1.0 mode and IDE mode, native command queuing (NCQ), FISbased port multiplier switching or command switching, and hotplug capability. 3. BIOS Motherboard Settings: SATA mode must be set to AHCI. Although some motherboards support PCIE 2.0, the BIOS does not enable speed transmission mode (Gen2 speed mode) by default and must be manually activated. In PCIE 1.0 mode, speeds are limited to 200250 MB/s, while PCIE 2.0 mode achieves below 350400 MB/s. If this is unacceptable, consider replacing the motherboard. 4. Wide Compatibility Compliant with Serial ATA 3.0 specifications, backward compatible with SATA2.0 and SATA1.0. Supports PCIExpress v2.0 and backward compatible with PCIExpress v1.0. Works with SATA6G, 3G, and 1.5G hard drives. For performance, use a SATA3.0 data cable.
