Accessory Switch for use with Peco PL-10E Turnout Motors.The switch connects directly to a Peco PL-10E turnout motor and can be used to control the polarity of live frogs or to automate the operation of signals and lights etc when the points are changed. This can be useful if you want to introduce interlocking to your layout, have a diagrammatic control panel or simply want certain signals to be changed at the same time as points with the flick of a single switch.The PL-13 accessory switch is fundamentally a regular single-pole changeover switch (on/on switch), and as with all changeover switches, it can also be used as a regular on/off switch too. The only difference is that it operates automatically when the points are changed. It is rated at 1.5 amps meaning it is capable of operating almost anything associated with model railways, all you have to do is decide what it is that you would like the switch to operate.Installation is simple as full instructions are included in the box.
