PORTABLE PH CHLORINE TESTER - This water quality tester is designed to test pH and chlorine for swimming pool and spa. It is easy to use, no more chemicals. The large screen quickly shows the test result with high accuracy. CHLORINE TEST LEVEL - Recommended chlorine level for swimming pools and spas: 1.2 ~ 1.7ppm. Position the needle on your "adjustment point". Holding the tester in one hand and the probes in the other, insert the probes into the water until the black stripe appears. Wait for the needle to rest for a better chlorine reading. Leave the probes in the water. PH TEST LEVEL - Recommended pH level for swimming pools and spas: 7.2 ~ 7.8. With the probes still in the water, turn the dial to pH "until you hear a click (the battery must be turned off for the pH reading). Wait for the needle to rest on the pH reading Gently dry the probes and insert them into the holder on the side of the tester for storage. NOTE - Please do not immerse the probe in any liquid other than pool or spa water. Please turn the switch to the closed position when not in use. Please store the tester in a cool and dry place.
