PH and Chlorine Pool Testing Set

A complete, self-contained water testing system for maintaining healthy swimming pool conditions. Housed in a compact plastic case (approx. 15 x 7.3 cm), it includes a precision-marked test vial, 20ml red phenol solution for pH analysis, and 20ml o-toluidine (OTO) solution for free chlorine quantification. To assess pH: rinse vial, fill to line with pool water, add 4 drops red phenol, shake, then match resulting hue to the pH scale. For chlorine: rinse vial, fill, add 4 drops OTO, shake, compare yellow tone to chlorine scale. The ideal pH range of 7.2–7.6 protects swimmers’ eyes and skin while preserving chlorine effectiveness; the recommended chlorine level of 1.0–1.5 ppm delivers continuous microbial control without causing irritation or corrosion.
