Precision-Engineered Pool Cleaner Impeller

This impeller is manufactured to replicate the hydraulic profile and mechanical interface of the original component used in Hayward SharkVac XL and TigerShark QC (RC9990A) robotic cleaners. With a 3.5-inch diameter, 12mm spline-fit hub, and 85g mass, it ensures accurate rotational balance and minimal harmonic resonance. The material—a modified polypropylene blend—contains UV absorbers and chloride-scavenging additives, validated for 18+ months of continuous outdoor pool use in UK climate conditions. Its five tapered blades are angled to maximise laminar flow and reduce air entrainment, sustaining strong suction across variable pool water levels and debris loads. Designed for residential pools (concrete, vinyl, fibreglass) and compact spas, it supports full-cycle cleaning without clogging or stalling on hair, pine needles, or granular shock residue. Replacement follows Hayward’s field-service standard: no tools needed, average time under 45 seconds.
