Programmable E-Bike Display for 36V 48V

A programmable LCD display engineered for 36V and 48V e-bikes using the industry-standard SM connector. Compact size (72 × 42 × 18 mm), lightweight (~95 g), and built with robust ABS casing for vibration resistance and weather resilience. Operates across -10°C to 60°C. Core metrics shown include real-time speed, trip and total distance, ride duration, assist level (1–5 or custom), motor power and temperature, battery voltage and charge state, brake status, and ambient temperature. Power management logic correlates instantaneous voltage drop and current draw to refine remaining range estimation. Last-assist-level retention eliminates reconfiguration each ride. Parameter setup covers wheel circumference input, speed sensor type, speed limit enforcement, assist torque mapping, low-voltage cut-off, and peak current caps. All ride logs—time, distance, max/avg speed per session—are stored onboard and viewable or reset directly. Walk Assist engages at 6 km/h with dedicated LED feedback. Cruise Control holds set speed with automatic torque adjustment. Backlight intensity is adjustable, and headlight control is integrated. A 3-digit password prevents unauthorised settings changes. Over-temperature monitoring triggers immediate alerts when motor heat exceeds defined thresholds, alongside standard error code reporting.
