This PWM DC motor speed controller operates within a wide input voltage range of 5V to 30V DC and handles up to 12A continuous current (360W max). Its compact dimensions are 98 × 58 × 32 mm, with an ABS plastic enclosure and integrated electronic components. It features dual MOSFET-based regulation with low internal resistance and a dedicated pre-driver stage for stable high-frequency, high-current performance. The unit includes digital encoder knob control for precise, drift-free speed adjustment — offering superior repeatability and consistency compared to analog potentiometers. Users can configure minimum and maximum output limits to match motor or LED load characteristics, preventing stall (at low end) or overspeed/overbrightness (at high end). Adjustable step resolution (0.1–25 per click), plus programmable soft-start and soft-stop timing (0.0–9.9 seconds each), ensures smooth motor engagement and reduces mechanical and electrical stress. Designed for easy integration, it comes in a standard 5135 instrument case with rear cover for panel mounting. A front-panel start/stop button and external switch interface provide flexible local or remote control options.
