Quiet Hydraulic RV Door Stopper

A pair of robust black stainless steel door holders engineered for noise-sensitive mobile living. Each unit weighs 160 g and measures 8.5 × 3.2 × 2.8 cm. Entirely constructed from non-magnetic 304 stainless steel — including housing, piston rod, spring, and mounting bracket — guaranteeing zero galvanic corrosion when installed alongside aluminium frames or copper-rich wiring looms. Supplied with 18 M4 × 16 mm mounting screws (stainless steel grade A2-70), pre-counted and bagged for immediate installation. The integrated hydraulic damper works in tandem with a linear compression spring to absorb momentum gradually. During door closure, fluid displacement within the sealed cylinder creates back-pressure that modulates speed — resulting in near-silent operation even in quiet residential campsites or early-morning park-ups. This also minimises transmission of vibration into thin-walled vehicle structures, preserving interior finishes and reducing fatigue on mounting points. Intended for permanent fitment on primary entry doors of motorhomes, campervans, and touring trailers. Offers repeatable performance over 50,000+ cycles without loss of damping efficiency — verified under accelerated testing replicating UK seasonal humidity swings and thermal cycling from -5°C to +40°C.
