Robust Aluminum Spoke Tool

This spoke tension gauge combines aerospace-derived aluminum alloy housing with precision-machined internal components to achieve optimal rigidity and minimal thermal expansion. Dimensions: 14.5 cm (L) × 4.5 cm (W) × 3 cm (H); weight: 120 g. Measurement scale covers 0–120 kgf (0–1176 N) with linear response and ±2.5 kgf repeatability. The ergonomic grip zone features micro-textured surface patterning for secure handling even with greasy or wet fingers. Probe geometry accommodates spoke angles from 0° to 15° off-perpendicular — critical for accurate readings on deeply dishy rear wheels or asymmetrically laced gravel wheels. Validated for compatibility with DT Swiss, Sapim, Pillar, and Wheels Manufacturing spokes — supporting both hand-built and factory-assembled wheel systems commonly found across UK retail and independent bike shops.
