RS232 Switch Box 4 in 1 Out DB9 Serial Switcher for PC Console Printer Sharing

Manual RS232 Switch Box for Sharing One Serial Device Between Four Computers This manual RS232 switch box lets you connect four serial devices to a single computer, or share one printer or other serial device between four computers, without the need to unplug and replug cables. It is a straightforward and reliable solution for environments where multiple systems need occasional access to the same peripheral. Simple Push-Button Selection Switching between connected devices is handled manually via a simple selection control on the unit. There is no software to install and no power supply required, so the switch box is ready to use as soon as it is connected. This makes it particularly convenient in securities trading floors, educational settings, and communication rooms where quick, tool-free switching is valued. Standard DB9 Serial Connectivity The unit uses standard DB9 pin serial connectors, making it compatible with the vast majority of legacy serial equipment, including printers, computers, and other devices fitted with DB9 ports. The all-in-one design keeps cabling tidy and reduces wear on ports caused by repeated plugging and unplugging. Built for Everyday Professional Use Constructed with a durable housing and dependable internal switching, this unit is designed to cope with regular use in busy working environments. Its compact footprint means it can sit unobtrusively on a desk or shelf, keeping your serial connections organised and within easy reach.
