The hydraulic steering bleed kit is compatible with Seastar systems and is designed for cleaning boat hydraulic steering systems. To use, connect a bottle of Sea Star hydraulic steering fluid to the filling hose cap, insert the filling fitting into the boat's hydraulic steering fill port, and attach the quick connector on the other end of the filling hose to the fitting. Insert one end of the bleeding hose into the oil outlet fitting of the hydraulic steering cylinder, and connect the other end to the quick connector. Invert the hydraulic steering fluid bottle so fluid flows through the filling hose into the system and exits via the bleeding hose and fitting, effectively flushing the system.
