Silicone Latch Support Nipple Shield

A medical-grade, odourless silicone nipple shield with smooth finish and uniform wall thickness (~0.6mm). Approximate outer diameter: 40mm; central aperture: ~12mm. Designed for short-term use to improve infant latch success in cases of nipple pain, chapping, flatness, inversion or post-surgical sensitivity. Compatible with both direct breastfeeding and supplemental feeding setups. Application requires gentle manual pressing to seat the shield evenly over the nipple and areola; a small amount of expressed milk or sterile water increases surface tension and improves hold. Cleaning is mandatory pre- and post-use: scrub gently with soft brush, rinse well, and air-dry away from direct heat or dust. Not intended for overnight wear or continuous multi-day use without monitoring by an IBCLC or NHS lactation specialist — supports evidence-based, mother-centred feeding goals.
