By installing the soft start module, the machine no longer starts abruptly, but reaches full speed shortly after being switched on (approximately 1–2 seconds). The motor experiences less stress during startup, which helps protect bearings and gears, extending the life of moving parts. The starting current is reduced by the module, allowing the machine to start smoothly and typically preventing fuses from blowing at startup. Due to its compact design, the module can be easily installed in most enclosed machines or power tools. Note: The soft start module is only suitable for brushed motors (with carbon brushes).
