Split Core Current Transformer 200A AC Open Type CT with Built-in Input Coil

Split Core Current Transformer for Energy Monitoring This split core current transformer offers a practical solution for AC current measurement up to 200A with a 3000/1 ratio. Designed for use with energy meters and monitoring equipment, the open-type construction allows installation without disconnecting the cable, making it particularly useful for retrofitting existing electrical installations. Simple Installation Without Interruption The snap joint structure enables quick and secure fixing directly onto the cable using nylon ties. Because the transformer opens and closes around the conductor, you can fit it without cutting off the power supply, which is especially valuable when installing or upgrading an energy meter in a live distribution board. The built-in input coil keeps the unit self-contained, so no additional components are required for basic operation. Compact and Robust Construction Fully enclosed housing provides good mechanical strength and resistance to environmental conditions, while the strong voltage isolation capability supports safe, reliable operation in everyday use. The compact and lightweight design makes handling straightforward, even in confined spaces within consumer units or control panels. This combination of durability and ease of handling makes the transformer well suited to both professional electricians and competent DIY users working on single-phase monitoring projects.
