Straight Razor Strop Strap Leather Edge Refiner

A dedicated leather strop strap measuring approx. 47.8 × 5.8 cm, intended solely for post-honing edge refinement of straight razors and precision knives. Its dense, tightly grained leather offers just the right resistance and texture to realign micro-teeth along the cutting edge without aggressive material removal. Before first use, condition the blade and strop surface by rubbing the razor’s unnotched side back and forth for 2–3 minutes with light oil — this primes both surfaces for optimal interaction. To use: secure the front end firmly, hold the tail taut with the left hand, and stroke the blade smoothly across the leather with the right hand — maintaining steady spine contact and consistent angle. This process enhances sharpness, reduces drag during shaving, and extends usable life between honings. Suitable for both commercial barber environments and disciplined home grooming regimens.
