Triangular Optical Prism for Light Colour Experiments, Bk7 Glass Science Kit

A Crystal Clear Introduction to Light and Colour This triangular optical prism is precision-crafted from BK7 (K9) optical glass, not plastic, offering a genuine tool for exploring the science of light. Weighing approximately 100g, it has a solid, comfortable feel that speaks to its quality construction. Whether you are a student, a photography enthusiast, or simply curious about the natural world, this prism offers a fascinating way to observe how a beam of white light is broken down into its full spectrum of colours. A Window into the Spectrum The core function of this prism is its ability to refract light, splitting a single beam into the seven distinct colours of the visible spectrum. This classic demonstration of optics is not only a fundamental scientific principle but also a beautiful visual experience. By holding the prism up to a light source, you can project a clear, vivid rainbow onto a nearby surface, making it an excellent hands-on learning aid for science lessons or a captivating desk display. A Thoughtful Gift for the Curious Presented in an attractive gift box, this prism arrives ready to give. It makes a unique and elegant present for anyone with an appreciation for science, photography, or refined home decor. Its clear, glass construction adds a touch of sophistication, serving as both an educational instrument and a striking decorative object that brings a sense of wonder and beauty to any setting.
