The TSL2591 light sensor is an advanced digital light sensor, suitable for use in various light conditions. Compared to low-cost cadmium sulfide cells, this sensor is more accurate, allowing precise lux calculations and configurable for different gain or timing ranges, with a 188 DULUX light detection range up to 88,000 lux at a flying distance. It contains both infrared and full-spectrum diodes, which can measure infrared, full-spectrum or human visible light respectively. The TSL2591 light sensor has a huge dynamic range of 600 million:1. Please note that compared to the previous TSL256 1, the 7-bit I2C address (0x29) of the sensor cannot be changed. The board has a voltage regulator and can work at a voltage of 3.3V-5.0V.
