TwistOn Water Strainer 12mm Reusable

A mechanically simple yet robust inline water strainer with 12mm BSP male threads, made from UV-stabilised nylon and precision-welded stainless steel mesh. Its twist-on body separates cleanly into inlet and outlet sections, exposing the full filter surface for direct cleaning. Dimensions are 66mm long × 27mm diameter; weight is 72g. Designed for cold water service only, it handles pressures up to 6 bar and maintains flow efficiency above 95% of unrestricted pipe capacity at rated flow rates. Filtration is purely physical: particles larger than approx. 150 microns are retained on the mesh surface. No media degradation, no chemical leaching, no pressure-compensating mechanisms — just consistent, predictable protection. Ideal for point-of-use protection where upstream municipal filtration is insufficient or where secondary contamination occurs inside aging domestic pipes or flexible hose reels. Widely applied in UK households to reduce grit in filtered drinking water taps, in motorhome freshwater systems drawing from roadside taps or campsite hookups, and in mobile valeting businesses where consistent rinse water quality directly impacts customer satisfaction and repeat bookings.
