Underfloor-Gas Boiler Compatible Thermostat

Dimensions: 9.5 x 9.5 x 3.2 cm. Weight: 180 g. Temperature setting range: 5–40 °C. Measurement accuracy: ±0.5 °C. Includes integrated aluminium sensor and 300 cm external sensor cable. Operates via mechanical rotary knob and features red LED heating-status indicator. Housing: flame-retardant ABS plastic; sensor core: conductive aluminium for consistent thermal conductivity. Designed specifically for UK properties using multiple heating methods — notably electric underfloor heating in ground-floor zones and gas-fired radiators upstairs — this thermostat eliminates scheduling conflicts and temperature overshoot by providing unified setpoint control. The dual-sensor architecture supports adaptive installation: use the internal sensor for small, well-insulated rooms; deploy the external probe in larger or thermally complex areas (e.g., open-plan living spaces with vaulted ceilings or bi-fold doors) where air stratification affects accuracy. Its calibration function enables alignment with verified room measurements — useful when integrating with energy monitors or after insulation upgrades. The LED status light supports quick diagnostics during winter months, and the rotary interface ensures accessibility for users less familiar with digital interfaces — including elderly residents or tenants in rental HMOs complying with UK HHSRS standards.
