These black rubber replacement tires are engineered for band saws and scroll saws used in woodworking. Available in five standard wheel diameters — 8 inch (205 × 12.7 × 3 mm), 9 inch (230 × 12.7 × 3 mm), 10 inch (250 × 12.7 × 3 mm), 12 inch (317 × 20 × 3 mm), and 14 inch (350 × 24.5 × 3 mm) — each with precise cross-section dimensions: 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) wide for 8–10 inch sizes, 3/4 inch (20 mm) for 12 inch, and 1 inch (24.5 mm) for 14 inch; all with ~0.12 inch (3 mm) thickness. The key design feature is intentional undersizing — the rubber ring’s circumference is deliberately smaller than the wheel’s outer rim — creating radial compression when mounted. This ensures firm contact, eliminates slippage under load, and maintains stable blade speed and feed rate. Installation begins with removal of old residue, followed by warm-water soaking (3–5 minutes), then careful hand-pressing and screwdriver-assisted seating into the wheel’s outer groove. Designed for practicality and reliability in home workshops and small-scale cabinetmaking environments where consistent saw performance depends on properly seated, non-slip wheel tyres.
