Recommended for use with output power within 7-8 watts (12V 0.6A). Input port is USB Type-C female; output is standard PWM 4-pin fan connector. Built-in DC-DC boost circuit (boosts USB 5V to 12V) and built-in PWM signal generator for speed adjustment. Fan speed adjustment range is 0-100%. Turn the knob clockwise to increase speed; turn counterclockwise to decrease speed. Designed primarily for use with charging or rechargeable batteries, which commonly provide 5V/2A output. Higher specifications are uncommon. The 12V/0.7A load approaches the full capacity of a 5V/2A power source. Consideration has been given to the compact size of the PWM controller, which limits cooling capacity. It is recommended to keep output current below 0.7A for short-term use and below 0.5A for continuous operation. This refers to maximum speed current; fan current varies proportionally with speed.
