UV-Resistant 86 Socket Enclosure

Engineered for longevity in unsheltered locations, this enclosure uses UV-stabilised polycarbonate that retains mechanical strength and surface clarity after 5+ years of continuous UK sunlight exposure. Its 86 mm × 86 mm format accepts all standard UK/EU socket plates, including smart switches and dual USB variants. The rain cover features a dual-seal lip design: primary gasket compression plus secondary drip channel to divert runoff away from the socket aperture. Wall-mounting is simplified with countersunk flange screws and optional silicone sealant grooves. Suitable for permanent outdoor circuits compliant with BS 7671 Amendment 2 requirements when installed with appropriate RCD protection.
