1. Place in rings or one-piece mount. Tighten rings to remove slack, but leave loose enough for the optic to rotate by hand. 2. Place the leveler base directly on the Picatinny rail or one-piece mount, aligning it with the turret. Ensure the angled slot is on the top side. 3. Insert the leveler wedge into the slot on the base from the side until it contacts the bottom of the turret. 4. Gently apply pressure until the optic rotates and becomes level. 5. Tighten one ring according to the specifications provided by the ring/mount manufacturer. Remove the optic leveler. Tighten the other ring according to the specifications provided by the ring/mount manufacturer. Note: Use of the optic leveler assumes the scope’s turret and reticle are aligned, which may not be true with lower-quality optics.
