Check Sealing: Before use, ensure the case is properly sealed. After placing your phone inside, secure the side latches and use the vacuum pump to remove air until no visible gaps remain around the edges. (Note: Models PU9100W, PU9010W, PU9117T, and PU9118T do not require vacuum sealing.) 2. If the seal is compromised, water may enter and damage your device. 3. Operation: The case supports touchscreen functionality underwater. Under normal conditions, all phone functions remain accessible via the touchscreen at depths up to 30 meters. Precautions 1. Usage Environment: Always adhere to the rated depth and duration limits. Exceeding these may cause damage or leakage. 2. Cleaning & Maintenance: After each use, clean the case thoroughly—especially the O-ring groove and buttons—to remove salt, sand, or debris that could impair sealing. O-ring lubricant may dry out when exposed to air. If dry, reapply waterproof grease immediately to maintain seal integrity. 3. Function Check: Before submerging, test all physical buttons to confirm proper operation. Set your phone’s screen to “stay awake” mode and reduce brightness to minimize internal heat and reduce fogging. FAQ 1. Case Leaks: If water enters, inspect the O-ring for correct installation, damage, or contamination. Ensure lubricant is present and not dried out, latches are fully secured, and the case body shows no cracks or deformities. 2. Touchscreen Unresponsive: At greater depths, water pressure may reduce touch sensitivity or disable touchscreen function. Stainless steel button springs may corrode if not dried promptly after use, affecting responsiveness and durability. 3. Poor Image Quality: Underwater photos may be affected by low light or optical refraction. For improved results, consider using supplemental lighting or shooting in brighter underwater environments.
