Weighted Bendable Adaptive Dining Set

A practical 4-piece adaptive dining set: tablespoon, teaspoon, rocker knife, and fork. Constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with soft-grip PP handles. Each utensil is weighted (~200–250g) and features a reinforced, fully articulating bendable joint (0–180°). Approximate individual lengths: spoon/fork 22 cm, knife 19 cm; handle width ~3.5 cm; packaged size ~22 x 8 x 4 cm; total weight ~1.1 kg. Handles are ergonomically contoured and textured for secure hold, even with minimal finger control. Safe for repeated dishwasher use (top rack only). Colour: black PP handles with silver stainless steel heads. Engineered for adults facing challenges including hand tremors, post-stroke weakness, advanced arthritis, or progressive neuromuscular conditions. The weight stabilises movement; the bend adapts to posture; the built-up handle eases grip demands. The rocker knife supports independent food management — a key factor in maintaining nutritional intake and reducing reliance on prepared or puréed diets. All components are tested for durability under typical UK care-home usage patterns. Suitable for self-use, supported living, domiciliary care, and hospice environments. Aligns with UK Care Quality Commission (CQC) expectations for person-centred equipment provision and dignity in eating. Not suitable for children or for heavy-duty cutting tasks.
